Checking sold listings, one has sold at a price of around 400GBP.

I'd say around 450, check on sites that specialise in this stuff - none comes to mind.

idk

It's a development kit.  It's literally the Sony licensed hardware that is provided to developers, under contract, to develop games.  They are not supposed to be in the wild (But it happens, usually when devs go under and all their stuff gets sold at auction), they are never 'new' and they don't have a price tag.

Well according to https://www.polygon.com/2013/7/24/4553842/so-how-much-does-it-cost-to-develop-for-playstation-4, a PS4 dev kit costs $2500 for a developer to obtain.

However I would imagine this sort of thing is only valuable to collectors or homebrewers. It's worthless as a development tool without a license.

Can someone with developer console experiences help me out, I have 2 PS4 Developer Kits (DUH-D1000AA)

Does anyone know there worth and what value they hold, I’m from UK and I couldn’t find any on eBay, can anyone help me out?

thanks

There's one on ebay atm but he never gonna get that price for it (it's a useless expired devkit)... buy now for 999£, for that price you can find probably 3... and yh like DROIDBOT said, last one was last month for 400£ in NEW CONDITION on  ebay...

Without the proper software included on the devkit and on cd to install on pc & with a unexpired license + account to access devnet, they're pretty much as useless as a paperweight... There's 2 types of ppl that may buy it... a collector like myself or a hacker who wants to reverse engineer it to build the next jailbreak for ps4 and potentially ruining the system for everyone.

But like i said before, if you really consider to sell them i'm interested & for the right price i'll even take both.

The only way a devkit can be really valuable is if you got it legit with all accessories + software, access to devnet (account + static IP to access it) so it can be used to develop games/homebrew...

OR

Like the one that was accidently bought on auction from a development studio such as SQUARE ENIX and still contains 800GB of data (most likely from a unreleased game) maybe follow-up for SLEEPING DOGS...

BUT

in 2nd case you gotta keep in mind that even tho the company died, there's still copyright to what's on the system... so if you don't want Sony knocking on your doorstep... I would be carefull what to do or not do with it...
