Hey guys quick question for you, I'm looking to do some gaming and light content creation with a little bit of streaming.

So the question is: Ryzen 5 1600 or 1700?

If you only do a bit of content creation then the Ryzen 5 1600 would be more than enough for that. If you plan to do heavy editing in the future then u might want to consider the Ryzen 7 1700.

The 1700 is not R5

 

If u want 6 core 12 threads,go for the 1600 for light content creation,if big content creation,get a 1700
