MSI afterburner freaking out?

I was playing Minecraft then it god boring and I decided to go to sleep, I had my MSI afterburner running so I can see the temperatures of CPU and GPU. When I turned Minecraft off it started doing this,

Occasionally. It's taking breaks in-between temp readings for some reason. Maybe power saving? Maybe CPU is getting interrupts. Could be a few things.

 

I wouldn't worry about it.

Maybe it's because I turned to the maximum [Windows] battery life extender?

It could, if it's a laptop and you're trying to save battery life, it could check temps intermittent instead of constant.
