Brand new pc build, will list all specs below after a summary of the issue. This occurs using either mouse i have Razer Naga and Steelseries Rival 700, the cpu spikes 10-25% when moving the cursor at anything above 125hz refresh. I have heard of cpu usage going up with high polling rate but even my old i5 didnt have noticeable spikes or frame drops (Frames drop in youtube videos and in games). So far i have uninstalled the drivers and tried using the mouse as a basic usb device, updated all the drivers for the mice, and tried running on all polling rate settings and only 125hz does not lag. Ive read a few posts here and on other forums and cannot find a solid answer so any and all help would be appreciated.

  • Windows 10 Home 64bit
  • GA-Z270X-Gaming K5 (F5 BIOS)
  • Intel i7 7700k stock speed

  • Gigabyte GeForce GTX GV-N1080G1 GAMING-8GD
  • Samsung 850evo 250GB
  • WD Caviar blue 1TB

Hopefully that is enough to get some help, if there is any other info you may need to assist let me know.

Also mods not sure if this should be in troubleshooting my bad feel free to transfer it if that is the case.

Thanks in advance
