New HDD

I just recently received an old 500gb HDD from my Late grandmothers Lenovo Desktop. Problem is, even after formatting the drive, It shows up as 3 separate hard drives  in windows. They were: a 429gb Partition which was just the old copy of windows 7. The second was a 31.5gb partition originally called "Lenovo recovery." The third and final drive was labeled as some sort of boot drive. I've tried formatting them all (which is why they have different names now) Any help to consolidate these would be much appreciated!
