HELP needed for computer!!!

I need help for my computer. I'm not sure what's wrong with it. I turn it on and windows starts loading and then it freezes. I reset my bios thinking that might help, but the same thing happens, except it says BIOS reset, press delete to enter setup. So I press delete and it freezes. I don't know what

the problem is. I'm thinking it could be the hard drive or possibly ram. If anyone knows what it could be, could you please comment.

If you have more than one stick of RAM, try taking one out at a time and booting up. Also try with different DIMMs in different slots. How did you reset the BIOS? Did you use the "reset to defaults" option, take out the CMOS battery or use the jumper on the board?

Is this a completely new build or are you using a old hard drive? Because if you are theyou have to reformat your hard drie and put a clean new os install.

I"ve had this build since last August and have been using the same hard drive.

Wait, it's freezing while you are in your motherboard's BIOS?

It freezes while i am trying to get into BIOS when it says enter delete to enter setup.

If you could try booting from a Linux live CD/USB or something like that then that might help diagnose if it's a hard drive issue
