so I have problems with my GPU drivers (1070 full specs listed in profile). one of them is that I can't fullscreen in any game. when I fullscreen a game it will go back to windowed. 

it usually gets fixed with a driver reinstall (yes am using DDU) but comes back after a while. am bored of reinstalling drivers. also, i recently updated the drivers (from GeForce experience) so it might the cause... again

 

don't they test the updates!!! (btw I know they do and am not signed in to receive beta) before it had a glitch where the GeForce experience Wouldnt open because it was missing a dll. glad they fixed that

For the fullscreen thingy, I think there's an option about this in the settings menu.

that's the scaling and its set to 100% (which is none)

yea and I know it does that but in some software, for example, gta but am sure its fine with r6s and Skyrim for example cause I've been playing them with TeamViewer open for months now

If you don't use Quick Connect I'd suggest disabling it (Teamviewer still works without it, all it is, is the little button on the program menu bar). I had the same issue as you and some games would work where some wouldn't (Some games automatically are ignored by QuickConnect)

 

Options - Advanced - QuickConnect, then select Configure and untick the 'Show QuickConnect Button' to disable it.

I don't mean that. I'm referring to Nvidia's control panel, something like that (the last time I used nvidia graphics cards is 2 years ago in my sold laptop).
