Hey there

I have just started to look for a gaming computer, but my knowledge on this subject is rather limited, which is why i ask: What is the gaming capability of the setup shown below.
It should be noticed that it's a used computer but the owner has built it himself.

Hardware:
CPU: A10 7860k @4.10GHz
GPU: R9 270 2GB GDDR5 @1050MHz core
RAM: 2x4GB DDR3 HyperX Blue @1866MHz
SSD: 1 X 120GB Kingston SSD Now
HDD: 1 X 500GB Seagate 3.5"
Motherboard: Asrock FM2A88X Extreme 4+
PSU: Enermax Naxn 500 watt
Case: Phanteks P400S Black
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master 212

Furthermore what upgrades do you guys recommend?

That thing is not worth 420usd.

edit: that amount of money can get you 3rd gen i5 systems at least. Not sure how much more expensive PC parts are in your place, just remember that in terms of old stuff, Intel is better than AMD.

I told him to search his own Case and HDD because both is really cheap anyway..... and it does come with a decent PSU from Corsair

Corsair VS series is bad.

Tier 6 PSU.... The smaller the number, the better btw.
