That was supposed to be a troll post. Although that is how people actually fixed the RROD with xbox 360s back in the day, that was to fix the onboard SOC because the chip would overheat and die over time. Pointing a heat gun at it would not fix your problem with the disk drive.

 

I believe the origional Xbox was literally just a repackaged PC. I would probably just buy a replacement drive for the system. To me the problem sounds like a dirty sensor, and you will have to take apart the disk drive entirely to clean that. 

 

 

I already took it apart and cleaned it, yet it still wont work. And lucky me i dont even have a heat gun
