20 degree celcius drop?

Hey guys Im talking about this video

linus removes the stock thermalpaste adds some higher quality and bam a few degrees off, but I did this to a 960 2gb and I used deepcool z5 paste fairly inexpensive. my temps at these settings; power limit 90 temp limit 76 core clock +90 memory clock +225 were around 61 average to 63 highest on the fuzzy doughnut on 4x msaa at 900p, once i put on the new paste at the same settings and the same preset on fuzzy doughnut: 51 degrees celcius but for the first 4/5 minutes it leveled off at 41 degrees and a noticable fps boost was apparent at 4x msaa i saw around 18/20 fps and now its at 30 fps and 8x msaa was around 15/18 fps now is at 17/19 thoughts? also it wasnt a total 20 degree celcius drop but im wondering could you acheive that and have same settings?

update for some reason i hit 327 max on the benchmark at 8x msaa is that a glitch or somehting?

Well, use IC Diamond, Thermal Grizzly Kyronaught or Antex Formula 7 for the best of the best thermal compound for the best results, if you're feeking really brave use Thermal Grizzly Conductanaught for the absolute best (it's a liquid metal one so be very careful)
