if you keep your peripherals and your h100i, ssd, 200 to 300$ max, if you also sell your gtx 970 then 450$ would be fair. a 1000$ pc would be, if you are fine with used, ryzen 1600+ gtx 980ti, 16gb ram, b350m or x370 mobo.

A: Just sell your mobo, ram and cpu as a bundle. About $230-250.

B: This is good enough for 1080p games:

a) $500ish - high end board is still like $130, 970s hover around $130-160 mark, RAM is still expensive, and PSU/Case/AIO I'd keep.

b) and with keeping the PSU/AIO/Case, here you go:

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 1700 3.0GHz 8-Core Processor  ($299.39 @ SuperBiiz)

Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory  ($124.99 @ Newegg)

I'd probably sell it for $300-400. You could probably get more, but I don't like the hassle of haggling or waiting for a 'good' buyer and don't mind passing on a good deal another local gamer. I'd probably keep the h110 unless I was planning on doing a custom loop.

i was actually thinking ditching the case as well, and getting the phanteks p300 when it comes out(i air 540 takes up too much room on my desk), and going with b350 instead of x370, since i dont care about any of the addition features.
