OFFLINE QR Code Generator?

Hello all. We use DataMatrix (similar to QR codes, either would work to be honest) to automate typing stuff in at work. Many machines are touchscreen with no keyboard, typing in info is a massive pain.

 

We need an OFFLINE program for windows that simply turns text into a scannable code. We don't want to use online websites due to the possibility of sensitive information going places it shouldn't. Being portable (IE not installed, just running from a folder) is highly desired.

 

Anyone know of something that would fit our needs? Thanks

zint barcode generator seems to fit your needs ( not used it myself found it with google) works offline, supports date matrix and QR and is available as a portable app.

Portable version looks like an installer but it appears to just unpack the software to a folder of your choosing
