Please help me make this decision fast

I have a local seller agreed on my offer of CAD $580 (USD $440) for his used GTX 1080 FTW DT (I'm aware this is a lesser version of the FTW), he says its condition is mint but I told him I will test it first before paying, so no worries.

 

I have 2 freesync monitors, and the intention was to wait for Vega.

 

What do I do now? Buy this or wait for Vega? I only have 2 hours to make the decision, and I'm leaning towards 1080.

 

I need second opinions, please help.

1080FTW DT here cost ~ CAD 830 taxes included, that's why this is a hard decision

But he could've used it for Zcash make sure he hasn't used it for mining at all
