Posted June 15, 2017 My computer has a 525GB SSD and a 3TB HDD. I have windows and Chrome on the SSD. Whenever I install a game or something from Chrome it installs onto the SSD. Is there a way to change this so it defaultly (or asks preferably) downloads to the HDD? Thanks. Posted June 15, 2017 Better way to do it is in Windows: https://www.howtogeek.com/273618/how-do-you-change-windows-default-download-path/ Can do the same with Documents, Music, etc. As for installing games and applications, you can create (for example) a games folder on your HDD. Then all you'd have to do is change the install directory on each game. As for your Steam games, you can follow this guide: Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/793536-win10-default-install-location-from-browser/#findComment-9992835 Share on other sites
