So i built myself a new Pc (5 weeks ago), the specs are: Ryzen 5 1600, Asus Strix Gtx 1080 A8G, 16Gb Corsair Lpx, BeQuiet Pure Power 10 550 Watts, Gigabyte Ab350 Gaming 3.

The System is plenty cooled and nothing is Overclocked.

Situation: My Pc runs fine even the newest games run on maxed Details etc on 100+ Fps, but sometimes (during gaming or even just by closing a game) my Pc just randomly freezes (either in one colour like gray or white, or just frozen with the last frame having green particles at the bottom of the screen) for either 10 Seconds, closing the game and showing me a Dx12 error message OR the Pc freezes forever and pressing the power button for 5 seconds is my only option. Then the error log says that the Nvlddmkm system driver crashed and was recoved successfully.

As far as i know all my drivers are up to date, my Bios is updated to the newest version and the hardware doesnt seem to be the issue aswell because everything works fine even during stresstesting.

I tried all the things listed on the internet that beeing: Memory check -no errors, powersettings on max. performance, lowering my display refresh rate, installing the display drivers again with display driver uninstallers, downgrading drivers etc.

I havent found any solution yet and i have no idea what to do now, if someone of you guys can help me i would be very happy. If you need any more information let me know.

Kind regards S5426
