need help for ethereum mining

hi, I would like to get into ethereum mining but I don't know what software to use and I would just like some general advice about what to do and how to get started. thanks.

Depending on your knowledge of Linux and computer ability, EthOS is probably a good option. Not much of a learning curve and it's already got everything you need to mine. There are other pre built packages like it that you can look into as well.

 

General advice; do a lot of research to make sure it is actually a viable source of money for you, take power cost and equipment into play. To many people just buy machines and wonder why they aren't making any money.

if your already on windows just get a software called claymore. i use nanopool there probly my favorite pool atm and they have a great guide https://eth.nanopool.org/help and then make a wallet if you have a phone you could get jaxx wallet or you could run ethereum wallet but that takes up like 60 gigs so id probably just recommend using jaxx then mine pointed at that wallets address
