Help me please !

Go to solution Solved by LyyK,

If you need to recover important data from the drives, I'd give Clonezilla Live a go. It's a Linux distro specifically intended for data recovery type stuff so throw it on a USB drive and you're good to go.

My dual boot got badly jacked up.

So yesterday I played bo 3 and suddenly my OS crashed. It rebooted me to clover bootloader and I booted to macOS but it kicked out that OS is corrupted (I use that shit every fucking day) and kicked me back to reboot. So I gave Windows chance and booted in and it kicked BSOD with message that my NTFS driver is corrupted. I have 4 TB of important data there and some mission critical stuff for my servers. How can I save all of the data and make my dual boot work correctly ? I got SP900 128 GB for $20 (It was worth picking up) but will tempornary reinstallation on SP900 work to connect to my server and copy all of that ? And can I use in Windows Apple HFS partition system or do I need Linux distro ?

I guess your partition table got corrupted, maybe your hard drive is bad. Try to connect it to another OS (e.g. using some linux live distribution so you don't even have to install anything) and make a backup. Next time remember to have a proper backup strategy, disk corruption is extremely likely on dual boot.

I have my backup server but still there are some stuff that I cannot risk putting on servers. I have 2 partitions assigned on 850 EVO (One is for macOS and another is for Windows) and I have WD Purple 3 TB (750 GB macOS and rest is in Windows) + WD Red 6 TB (Windows only) (Bought few days ago)

Then have a drive just designated to be a backup drive (e.G. usb drive), this way you do not have to put it on the server. If you are really paranoid about it you could encrypt the disk.

I have some things that if are stolen I am in big shit. Encrypting drive - Hmm I didn't think about that one. I'll try it and I don't carry USB's cause they make me insane. Everything is going through network.

If you are using an encrypted connection (like ftps or ssh) you do not need to worry about it going over a network. The likelihood of someone cracking that connection are extremely low.

I am also using different hardware with dual boot. Sometimes it lasts for years, sometimes it breaks after a month. Windows can be a bitch with this.

Oh man SSH is my standard for file transfer and I have very very secured network but I had DDoS like 5 days ago, so I am bit scared.

I've used Windows 10 Enterprise N LTSB. I think I'll revert to Windows 7 and slap onto it macOS Sierra.

DDoS can only force your connection to stop, it won't give those files to the attacker. So worst case, your backup does not finish during the DDoS attack. If your server is corrupted though (someone got the password) that would be a problem. Using encryption on the server and not storing the password on there might help though.

Still, while the attack my network speed was 256 KBps (It should be 1 GBps) and Windows reported on my phone that someone unauthorized accessed my server. Worst case scenario happend while I was doing Time Machine Backup and I use Windows Server 2016 on all of my servers and router

If someone actually accessed your server you have to reinstall the server, the risk of malware being installed on it is pretty high.

No worries. Clonezilla also has a lot of tools geared towards server maintenance you might be interested in. Best of luck to you!
