Can I create a bootable windows 10 USB from my PC?

ItsKolapo

I originally had Windows 8.1 and used the free upgrade, but I would like to reinstall windows on my PC. Do I need to make a bootable drive to do this and if so how do I do that.

As the person above me posted, use the download site to create your bootable USB.  Scroll down towards the bottom of the page and you will find links that will take care of the problem for you.  The website supports creation of bootable USB for Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.  The process will also ask you if you want 32 or 64 bit software.

Just need a USB flash drive equal to or greater than 4 gigs.

When one used the free upgrade to windows 10, were you given a product key?

No, you have to use the original one you had. If you still have your 8 product key it should work just fine.
