PC keeps freezing

I don't know what the issue is. Every time I boot it up, it just freezes after a few minutes of use. I can't move my mouse cursor, alt-tab, or do anything. A reboot fixes the issue, but only for a few minutes. 

 

I've been having some boot up problems, with the PC just shutting off with a click after I pressed the power button. It turns out I didn't have the power cable plugged in tightly enough. Or I thought so, at least. It boots up perfectly fine, but once I start playing a video or something, the video signal just freezes and I can't do anything. 

 

My specs are in my signature below. I've been on the same BIOS version ever since I've had the PC, which has worked fine for the year or so that I've used it. I'm on the latest Crimson drivers as well as Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.

Have you tried booting into a Linux or Windows bootable disk?

 

If you can, I'd check SMART data for the drives and do the usual disk analysis.

could be a faulty ram. usually windows crashes or restarts or shuts down if it cant read or write properly due to a faulty ram.
