AS5 Bad for GPU's?

So my Windforce 980Ti after multiple repastes with AS5 runs at 85c with maxed fan speed with side panel on and only drops down to 83 with the side panel off. Is AS5 a bad thermal paste for gpu applications?

do you have a overclock? 

do you have proper cooling? 

are all the drivers updated? 

do you live in a hot climate?

1. Yup. I've done it with the X, Pea, and spread methods.

2. It's overclocked but no extra voltage.

3. Uh. I think side panel off is pretty damn good cooling.

5. It's about 85F outside and 73 inside.

Use something else then. No sense trying to reapply for lower temps if it didn't work the first three times.

I am going to. Just wanted to know if anyone else have had these issues.
