cooler interferes with ram

so my cooler interferes with my ram(crosshair 6) would changing to a different motherboard (other than x99) like Z270?

I solved a similar issue by simply rotating the CPU cooler. You may not want an upside down logo but it's a lot cheaper than changing the motherboard...

It's pretty common for rads to do that. Either go for low profile RAM or move the rad to the front of the case.

which way? it seems the cable would be too short :/

im looking to swap to x99 as there is a bit more room
