That's a great build, good spread of money across the board so far. If you wanted to your power supply could be fine but I would recommend upgrading to something new and gold rated since your connect a 1080ti and ryzen 1700x to it. Case looks EPYC toooxD

Edit: I know your current supply is gold rated rn, but just grabbing a new one that has the same rating would be a great pick up.

If I had to choose between my computer and girlfriend, well lets just say you can play more games when single.:)

I just switched to a new case. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139078&cm_re=spec_alpha-_-11-139-078-_-Product

I'm thinking about using my current power supply, but it's now 4 years old. it's a EVGA NEX650G.

the NEX isn't that good but it'll power those components just fine.

just a few edits to save the price down.

Eh, the NEX/G1 is rather lacklustre but it should suffice. I'd drop the R7 1700X down to a R7 1700 and overclock it.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

Looks pretty solid, just a few things.

  • If you intend to overclock, which I think it's fair to assume you are with that beefy AIO, you should get the 1700 instead of the 1700x. It saves a little bit of money and they overclock literally the same.
  • The NEX you already have is an okay power supply, it'll definitely power the components. Although it's not great quality and it's got some years to it so it wouldn't be a bad idea to upgrade it. Up to you. If you do get a new power supply, I would recommend a Corsair RMx or EVGA G2/G3/P2. 650w is perfect.
  • I wouldn't bother with a founder's edition graphics card. They run hot and loud. Get an aftermarket card.
