Can't install windows

I selected the USB drive as the primary boot drive but I can't get the windows installation to start.

 

Laptop - msi gp62 7rd leopard

How did you create the USB installer? It could be that it wasn't actually created properly into a boot drive.

Good point. I didn't, it's my friends laptop and USB. I'll try it with my USB now.

If this is Windows 10, you should use the Media Creation Tool

I used my own windows 10 usb and it worked without a problem. Thanks!
