How reliable is the file copier in Windows 10?
Does it verify the file before and after it copies to make sure it copied 100% successfully and error free and copied the file fully?

Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong forum, thanks in advance to anyone who can answer my question

Do you mean control c control v a file? It's pretty reliable.. If it wasn't, well who the fuck would be using Windows explorer? (Ignore the fact that I use total commander lol)

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

It only does a basic verification to my knowledge.

Checksum is not actually reliable. Better than nothing for sure, but not 100% reliable.

Consumer computer hardware is "only": certified for reliability at 97-98% (it can be more, we are talking about certification, not what it can or can't do).

Server and workstation computers hardware are certified for ~99.95-99.99% reliable (it can be more, as mentioned before). That is why they cost a lot more. That is also why they feature more complex and costly circuitry design (over-built), thermally tested against failure under high heat for 24/7 operation, fans always at max speed, you have ECC memory everywhere where you have memory in all components in the system, including the RAM used, more rigorous testing on every manufactured parts. (It is all part of the high cost of every hardware of the system. A luxury that companies can afford). Also, many technology are only implemented in the board once they have matured enough, for most server and workstation hardware manufactures.
