MSI motherboard sound quality?

Go to solution Solved by ARikozuM,

No onboard WiFi. You'll have to purchase a PCIe or USB WiFi card/dongle.

As far as the audio chip, it'll do more than enough for you. The static issue has been gone far long enough that an add-in card will do nothing unless the chip is bad in the first place.

If you want better sound after trying the onboard audio chip, look into a DAC. Don't ask me about them, though.

Hello. I am planning on using the MSI - B250M PRO-VD Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard for my gaming PC build. I have heard that using the onboard sound card might result in receiving electrical interference, but MSI advertises the motherboard with good aound quality. I generally use a pair of audio technica m40x headphones so I was wondering if i might be affected by the interference(by the way I only use the headphones for gaming or plain media consumption).

While i'm on the topic, does this motherboard come with onboard wifi or will i have to purchase an onbard pcie wifi adapter? Thanks in advance for all of your help.

I see. Thanks so much! I haven't been able to dig up any info about the sound quality of this board so you've really helped me. I think i'll take my chances on the audio chip as i'm on a budget.
