Parts List:

Cpu: Ryzen 5 1500x

Gpu: Msi 1060 (3gb model)

Mobo: Msi B350m Pc mate

Ram: 8gb corsair lpx vengance

Psu: cooler master 500w  lite

looks good, though I'd go for an ASRock board vs MSI, they aren't as good with RAM on Ryzen. Try and get at least 3000Mhz memory as well, as that helps Ryzen a lot. Try and get a RX580 8GB if you can, but they're pretty much impossible to get now thanks to miners.

absolutely switch the GPU, 3GB is bad, even for 1080p gaming.

Do they still have rx 580 in stock in the UK? if they do, get that

A bit over budget, but you could skimp a bit on the case or not get an SSD to get more RAM, but 8GB RAM should be fine for school and casual gaming, and is easy to upgrade later. The R5 1500X and RX580 should smash anything at 1080p.

EDIT: I actually went for a Gigabyte mobo, as they are good and this was cheaper than the B350 ASRock board. Check that it has VRM heatsinks though, as those help keep things cool if you OC.

If you want, you can get the 4GB version of the rx 580 and save some money, in Canada it is a $60 difference between 4GB and 8GB so it is not a small difference.

I assume you play at 1080p.

Just now, JuckRamsy said:

I just had one more question do you need a wifi card to be able to connect to the internet witlessly or i saw that you can connect like antennas  to the back of the motherboard

depends on the motherboard, but the ones that have wifi antennas are usually the very high end ones, thus very expensive.

But a wifi card cost only like $30-40, so yeah
