I have no idea what any of this means.  Can you set up a pcpartpicker link for the build?

There model numbers. There not that hard

To OP This depends on what you need?More storage?Better performance? We need more details

as per now, i am quite happy running this. i think it will just to be hard to sell the 1060 in the future so id rather get rid of it now and get the 1080 ti.
but in 6 - 9 months nvidia will popup with somenew, so i can wait for the next 20xx generation and maybe sell it a bit later ?

however, hdd space is something i really need, ive been checking failure rates and it shouldnt be an issue with that HDD as it is suposed to be designed for datacenter use.

again, as per now, i do not need to overclock the 7700k, neither i can with this mobo, but buying a better one, now that i have budget, would allow me to buy better ram modules for the future. // i do a lot of archiving / unziping / moving files

because i do not need to overclock for the next 1 2 maybe 3 years, however i want to keep that mobo for a cheap G4560 in the future. sadly this mobo only handles 2400 rams

I'm not following. Why would you downgrade from a 7700k to a g4560 in the future?

meaning i will leave that mobo for a 2nd computer, and i will upgrade this one to be able to overclock

I'm starting to get it.

I'm assuming you've already built the system, so the secondary g4560 build that would utilize this mobo in the future is a definite. In that case

Since you're planning on doing OC'ing in the future 1-3 years down the road, I'd wait to upgrade the mobo and RAM (especially with the ram shortage)

A 1080ti for 108060fps is overkill for 99% of games. I would stick with the 1060 for now, it can hit 60fps at good settings in almost all games (almost)

Are you for sure going to saturate 8-10TBs? I would probably go for that, given your situation and future plans. I am not sure if you should raid 0 two reds or get one 10tb gold though, thats up to you
