GPU missing thermal paste in corners

Pachuca

Hi,

I know a gpu needs to have the entire core covered in thermal paste. When I bought mine I tested it first than I took off the heatsink and fans to find that two of the corners didn't have thermal compound on them. It's like right at the edge so I'm not sure if it matters or not. Here are pics.

let me know what you think, ty.

i hope so, i re-pasted thermal compound on it right away. I did use it for about an hour of gaming before hand though. That's why I am worried.

nawh you're totally fine. I mean ideally you have the whole thing covered edge to edge, but you aren't going to be cooking anything with so little remaining uncovered, especially in the location it's at
