Hi,

I have this old mobo https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-M61PME-S2-rev-2x#ov . My friend offered me AMD phenom II x4 955, 2x4GB DDR2 800MHz RAM and a GeForce GTX 680 all for 70$. I was wondering if all this parts are compatible and is it even worth upgrading PC that's 8 years old? Also what kind of PSU will I need to run this PC if I upgrade it? Does new PSU have connectors for old components? Thanks in advance for your response.

It says it is compatible with Phemom CPUs. Any DDR2 RAM should work with any DDR2 mobo, and as long as it has the correct slot for the 680 (is it PCI or PCIe?) it should work. IDK about the PSU, what one do you have now?
