FIXEEEEEEEEEED. I selected normal boot from msconfig, so it loaded all applications on start up. It is quad core now. I have no freakin idea which msconfig setting could turn off my 2 cores.

Hello guys, I have fx4100 processor and m5a78l-m lx motherboard. I noticed I have low fps in LoL like 40 but I usally have 150+ (got hd6770). And I noticed on my task menager I got dual core processor, I am missing 2 cores. I checked bios and everything is fine, I even reseted bios to default settings (only thing I have changed is turbo core - disabled it - but I got bios to default and still same issue).  Help please :)

Its not like LoL is going to benefit from a quadcore anyway, but its still strange. There is a feature in the bios that allows you to disable some cores of your cpu, have you checked that?

CPU: i7-4770k (LM modded) - MB: GA-Z87X-UD3H - RAM: HyperX, 16GB 1866MHz - GPU: Palit GTX 980Ti Super - Storage: 1TB HDD + 500GB/120GB SSD (850 Evo/840) - Monitor: Predator XB271HU - PSU: 700W BeQuiet 80+ Gold

belive it or not is if benefiting, right now on dual core it is using 50%, and I got 80 fps, usally got 150 fps. And about bios I reseted it to default, bios is up to date. Maybe I need to disable and enable turbo core so maybe it unbugs? And cpu is running max clock 3600 Mhz, even If minimum on power options is 35% and in bios c6 power state is enabled. I just don't get it :(

Have you resetted your bios by removing the little button battery on your mainboard? Removing the battery will both reset your BIOS and CMOS, if that doesn't help I don't know what will.....

Edit: Instructions are simple: Turn off your computer switch off your PSU and remove the little battery on your mainboard(careful it is secured by a little "spring hook" that must be pushed down with your fingernail or something else to remove the battery). Then wait 5minutes before putting it back into it's old position. Now both you CMOS and BIOS are cleared and you can turn on your computer like normal.

sorry for long delayed answer, I did it, turned up pc, It said bios and cmos were reseted so I pressed f2 to load defaults and when I entered windows I am still on dual core...... Is it possible that this is windows mistake? Today I disabled windows indexing service and I disabled it to run, I also disabled on msconfig teamviewer8 to start up with pc. After that I deffragmented my HDD because it had a ton of fragments because I downloaded 20GB stuff and deleted 40GB more. I have no fucking clue how this happened :/
