For budgets like this i'd honestly always go hunting for some used deals like Scrapyard wars. Just look this season again, $500 budget and they get stuff like a 980 and i7s.

Other than this^^^ Looks pretty good, though I'd recommend getting an RX570 instead of a 1050 Ti.

They do but they also spend all their money on the cpu/gpu with the rest of the system being the junkiest setup ever. Also they get better prices because people aren't stupid they know something is up, Linus has a distinct voice and went everywhere in a fricking LTT T shirt... Also people behave differently on camera so they assume this is being broadcast in some medium and do better deals for the free advertising.

Are they all out of stock? I couldn't find any 580 as well! They're all just gone, except for a couple low end ones.

At that price, it's probs the best choice. It can still run AAA games at 1080p on medium-high settings. I mostly play older games, so my one has no problem keeping up. What are your main games/software?

570/580 value has soared due to advantageous miners/people buying them up for high resale. Its MSRP is still below a 1060, you just can't buy it for that right now due to demand.

1060 3GB even with cut down cores is still better than the 1050Ti
