Hello LTT, I need help with my computer. My computer was running fine, I have RMA'D my GPU which is working I think. I have wiped my computer to see if it had any problems. And its still crashing, the computer screen just goes black the computer runs but I leave it running, everything is working even gpu fans and everything spinning but no control over the pc. I have ran Memory tests nothing is happening I even bought a whole new PSU. My specs are I7 6700k MSI R9 390 Asus maximus rog VIII Hero and 16 gbs of patriot ram

I have found the issue i believe

  ATKEX_cmd.exe
      0.0.0.0
      00000000
      KERNELBASE.dll
      10.0.15063.296
      28e9cf15
      0eedfade
      000eb802
      2168
      01d2de7ad493ddc1
      C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA\ATKEX_cmd.exe
      C:\Windows\System32\KERNELBASE.dll
      41b1e61b-f0a1-4ff7-aaea-d3c79fa57716

I found this on event logger i do not know what to do

this is almost definately a bad driver issue.

make sure all your drivers for your motherboard, specially onboard audio drivers, are completely up to date from the manufacturer website.

@M.Yurizaki (I'm not the OP) Do you think disabling onboard audio in the BIOS would verify if it is indeed the cause of the crashes? The event log is definitely pointing at something audio related. Most likely the driver but to rule out hardware fault do you think it'd be a effective test?

I have updated the drivers there are still crashes going on. This motherboard I've had it for 2 months and it just started doing this.

That'd probably be a good way to make sure it's the audio chip.
