thats because people like yourself think that junkrat is a good pick and sometimes it is but most of the times junkrat isnt a good pick at all. it depends on what map, attack or defense. 

 

People in comp want to rank up and they get angry on people for bad picks or poor teamwork/communication

That's the issue in bronze is everyone thinks they are a god genji and the mics are silent.

there is a "meta" but as a lower rank player dont look at that. Some people think the meta is everything

 

tips i can give are: 

  • get better at more heroes
  • learn the maps and the counters for the heroes
  • play the game because you like it not for ranking (rank is just a number, should be a shirt LINUS)

would agree with that. triple tank murdered me. also my girst fps so my aim is not great.

I was placed at 1200 last season, i carried myself all the way to plat. U just have to get good at a charector (dont be those hanzo torb one tricks) and understand concepts and fundamentals and be willing to fill. Also i can not STRESS how important being in team voice chat is and cooperating with your team is, and never play when ur tilted.

 

 

Also, how ur placement matches goes do not matter, u area placed at what the game thinks u should be at.

Like i said it depends on the team, if u are good at a player and it shows in ur stats, try doing that and convince ur team to play that role, although some charectors are good all rounders, such as zarya, ana, soldier (before nerf) etc. You just gotta know the game. I highly recommend watching youroverwatch on youtube and watch the videos they have on the class u want to play.

 

Remember, dont play every class, try to get as much practice in a class but when u need to be comfortable switching to other classes.

I hear this about bronze, silver, gold, and sometimes even platinum. I feel it's a misconception by highly skilled players. This is a team game, and if your team is performing poorly you'll still lose. Unless your individual skill level is miles above your rank, you can't solo carry.

For Bronze/Silver, I recommend finding one DPS, one tank, and one healer that you're best at and just focus on playing or practicing them. Get as good as you can with them so you can do your best in any given role that you need to fill. Once you get to plat, I recommend having at least two characters in each role that you can play well.

 

Niche picks can have a huge impact on a game, both good and bad depending on how well you do and if the enemy counters them, so they're more of a coin flip, which is why players can respond poorly to certain picks. I recommend staying away from them until platinum level because teams tend to be more accepting of a niche pick and start to have the skill and teamwork to work around it as needed*.
