New Mouse issues wrong grip type?

Oh dear. I asked if any palm contact was purely incidental and I realize you never acknowledged that as right or wrong. Would it be correct to say you use the base of your palm for controlling the mouse? If not, then what's to stop you gripping the mouse further back?

Also, how long have you been using it?

Nope i use my thumb and my two other fingers on the left to move the naga my palm just sits there for support I suppose, I don't use it to move the mouse at all.

picture, although now i think about it i do seem to use my wrist to for large movements aka fingers dont move whole hand does, just fingers moving for fine movements聽

WOOOW sorry for the large image forgot to turn my phones cam res down :(

im now starting to think i hybrid palm/claw haha gah this is frustrating

You have a similar/identical grip to my own it looks like. I call it a hybrid because I hold it mostly like a palm grip but use the same fingers as the claw grip for control. For me I play the best with the deathadder, I tried the G400s and it was comfortable but I found myself wanting the DA back.聽

The deathadder I think would suit you best since the rubber grips on the side are perfectly placed for your thumb and ring finger/pinky to grip the mouse. The rubber on the left of the DA align to about where it looks like you are resting your thumb and the other side will work just fine. You sound frustrated having to "settle" on the deathadder but I promise you it is a solid mouse. I am not a razer fan at all, I can't stand their marketing and flashiness but I have to give credit where it is due. DA2013 is a good mouse.

On a side note you seem extremely conscious when gripping mice (which I was too at one point) but I think it is best to just do whatever you hand naturally does and not pay attention to it. The more attention you focus on how you hold your mouse the less attention you are directing toward shooting people in the face which is in fact very important in FPS (shocking I know).

But it's support you need? You can't remove your palm from the equation entirely?

Yeah I need it there or it goes to a fingertip such as the pure optical and it just doesn't work for me haha :P

Its not that I feel frustrated at the DA2013 its more that I should have went for it 聽in the first place haha, ohh well time to return the optical now my only issue is what mouse next

Do i go for the deathadder,Ouroboros,Steel Series Rival? hmm

thanks聽@Osmium聽@Toby聽again for the help :)

Assuming you still care about the sensor, I'd say it's back to comparing the DA and Rival, which was outlined in your last thread. Unless something's changed, the Ouroboros contains the usual acceleration of Razer's "dual-sensors".

ahh i didint know they had this issue. to me the Rival looks too long for a grip like mine, so really i should give the DA2013 a shot聽
