[Help] Ryzen or Intel Upgrade

Hi good day i live in the Philippines and im kinda confused on what should i get my original plan was getting a a full **ryzen upgrade** but i have a h110m motherboard which im using now.. so the question is should i get the full ryzen build or i should just use my h110m motherboard and buy myself a i5 7600? please enlighten me thanks i advance

**PS: i plan using mine for gaming(ill stick with 1080p) and some video rendering**

the question is, since both CPUs would cost the same for you, is between a 7700 and a 1600.

 

For gaming and single-threaded performance, the 7700 wins, only slightly

For video editing, 1600 by a mile.

so its okay for me to use the h110m motherboard to the 7700? it wont bottleneck its performance right?

If its light editing Id rather get the better gaming performance then faster render.

currently i dont have a GPU and im using a i3-6100 atm with a single 8 gb RAM stick at 2133 mhz plus i dont have a decet PSU and case

in that case for with the intel.

the AMD CPU doesn't have an integrated GPU, so you'd need a graphics card too.

Get cheaper RAM.

RAM over 2400Mhz isn't supported on H110

Get a 240GB SSD. trust me it's worth it.

Corsair's CXM model PSUS are the same quality as the M12II, and slightly cheaper right now. if you want.
