Full Screen Video Playback

Hey everybody, wasn't sure where to ask this question but here it is. I have noticed that on desktop computer whenever I am watching a video on YouTube or Netflix and make it full screen, within 30 seconds or so the audio lags behind the video and it gets worse the longer that video is playing. And this is only when it is in full screen for some reason. If anyone has any ideas what would cause this I would love to hear it, it's getting really annoying. Thanks!
