Upgrade plan

I am currently running an i5 6600k and an r9 fury with a 530W power supply, with a 23" 1080p IPS 60Hz monitor from viewsonic.

I am planning a small upgrade, I could either sell the 6600k for a 7700k with a gpu replacement 1070/1080/vega, or upgrade more significantly the gpu 1080ti/vega or upgrade the gpu and the monitor.  Was thinking of a Dell ultrasharp 25" 1440p IPS monitor with a 1070/1080 or vega equivalent.

I say Vega because I'll have the paycheck for it end of July,  so might as wait a week or two then. The budget would be between 500-800€ depending on the paycheck and some other expenses. That's not including the money from the CPU or GPU sale. (I could look around 200 to 250 € for the GPU, and the CPU i don't know, probably around the same price tag, I haven't checked on the used market in Paris /France yet for the CPU.

Would anyone care to share their experience with such upgrades, and any advice on which would be the more sensible?
