Well hello everyone I am planning to build my first gaming PC and I am looking at a budget of $1000 for hardware and around 300 to 400 for monitor, headphones, and keyboard[already own a mouse].

What I am building this for is primarily FPS such as CSGO and destiny and mobos. However, I would also like to play other games such the Witcher 3 and use the PC for Autodesk/blender stuff.

Here the build I have atm

As you can see I tried to keep a red color theme:)  However it isn't necessary but only preferred.

All and any advice is good!

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KCM3QV this is what i would do. I changed the psu because the one you currently have selected is really bad and could harm your components because of bad ripple suppression. the seasonic psu that i choose is well known as being the best budget psu because it really safe and really cheap. i changed the msi 1070 to the zotac 1070 to save you 50 bucks and get a SSD boot drive which will make your computer run alot faster than if you have the os on a HDD.

yeah that is a bummer but i thought the 50 bucks was worth the savings. if you want you can keep the gpu as is and just get rid of the ssd and get one later. the psu you are going to want to keep the change though.

The msi 1070 is already $30 off so Its a pretty good deal and I can find a cheaper ssd.

Thanks for the build I have question why did you change the power supply to a 450 and would I really need a gtx1080?
