Computer does not turn off

My computer does not turn off when i press shut down. Instead it keeps the cpu fans and case fans and stuff spinning and when I "turn on" my computer it picks up from where i left off

reset bios and everything

 

Specs: 

6600k

a170-aura motherboard

16gb g.skill rgb

asus 1060 rgb

corsair h110i gtx

win 10

Are you trying to shut down the PC by using the button within windows or the physical button on your case?

 

Have you tried reinstalling windows? Or maybe even running windows update?

open cmd prompt as admin

type shutdown /?

shutdown "the attributes you choose like force quit"

next their are updates going out that have been tweaking the shutdown sleep hibernate functions of OS so be patient as could be a script in the wrong codeline or stupid -letter mixup 

but if shutdown command fails their always the power chord to pull
