<$50 Mobile Bluetooth Speaker recommendations?

Hi I don't really know much about what speakers are good and bad and I don't want to base my purchase off of marketing bs

Youtube sound tests don't really work because I'll just receive quality equal to my speakers and youtube audio compression.

Anyone know any good bluetooth speakers that:

-Can be easily carried in the hand

-Have good-great mid and bass (will be listening mostly to rap and electro)

-Look somewhat sleek and minimalistic

-Are under $50

?

Yup, the speaker above looks good. Anker is a really good brand for cables and batteries.

I have a Braven BRV-1 and I am happy with it. It sounds good as you described for a tiny Bluetooth speaker. Don't expect miracles though, I find that my $30 Logitech Z200 desktop speakers sound noticeably better (due to having 2 separate units you can space out and position for better sound) but they're not portable.

Anyway, the Braven BRV-1 is around $40 on Amazon. I can't tell you which Bluetooth speaker is the best. Most are good (considering the size) and exactly what you'd expect. The Braven has more of a rugged/camping style than a minimalist one. It really belongs in a Jeep. It's advertised as "waterproof" but I don't want to find out if it really is.
