I am going to be buying new pieces for my setup (CPU, Case, Fan, MotherBoard, etc...)

These are going to be all my specs:

Case: be quiet! PURE BASE 600 WINDOW Black/Orange (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA68V5DA7428&ignorebbr=1)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1800X ( https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113430&ignorebbr=1 )

RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200 ( https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233859&ignorebbr=1 )

MotherBoard: ASUS prime X370-Pro AM4 AMD ( https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132964&ignorebbr=1 )

GPU: GTX 1080 SC GAMING ( https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487244 )

Hard Drives: 1TB + 128GB SSD

Now my question....

I have a power supply that is 650W ( http://www.bestbuy.com/site/thermaltake-smart-series-650w-bronze-power-supply-black/8733872.p?skuId=8733872&extStoreId=&ref=212&loc=1&ksid=eefdfcb4-a7f9-4b13-bc6a-4ca14ededf01&ksprof_id=8&ksaffcode=pg199200&ksdevice=c&lsft=ref:212,loc:2 )

And i would like to know if it is good enough to power my new setup. Thank you!

The SMART series is pretty awful. You definitely want a higher quality unit to power a GTX 1080. 550W or higher would be plenty. The EVGA GS/GQ/G2/G3 should be fine.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

First, don't get 1800X, it's overpriced, get 1700. Get B350 mobo if you don't need the extra features on X370. Therefore, you can afford 1080TI and maybe a bigger SSD since 120GB is a bit small

The PSU is quite bad, check out @STRMfrmXMN's PSU tier list. Get at least tier 3, I suggest getting tier 1/2

Get a different PSU. It's not that great.

Also, why an 1800x when you can just OC a 1700 for 2/3 the price?!?

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.
