Need help choosing, GPU specifically

Baionoido

Games I currently play: PUBG, League of Legends and might get back into Overwatch.

Games I might get into: Destiny 2, Escape from Tarkov

PUBG: I have a lot of lag early in the game and a lot of stuttering in towns but stable ~40-50FPS. (Settings make no difference except on ultra)

LoL: Stable FPS ~90FPS, it CAN drop a lot in very big fights but rarely happens (deafult settings except characters on max)

Overwatch: Haven't played in a few months, quit around when I got 3.9k and from what I remember I played on deafult settings with my montitors max FPS (75HZ)

My current PC: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/44xgFd

Cards I've been looking at:

RX 480/470

GTX 1060

Cases: (All of them cost the same, I want something with a clean look, silent and easy to clean)

Corsair Carbide 270R

Fractal Design Define Nano S Black

Phanteks Eclipse P400/P400S

Proccessors:

New AMD processors (haven't looked into them at all)

''Old'' i5-series (i5-4690k, i5-4460 etc)

I'd get an RX580 8GB (same as the 480, but with a higher clock), and a Ryzen 5 1600 (6c/12t CPU!) and OC it. You can get a decent OC with the stock cooler. For a case, I'd go with whichever one you think looks the best, as the case it the main part everyone will see as soon as they walk in the room.

I'm not exactly rich and the prices in Sweden are stupid high so a 580 costs like 60+ euros compared to a 470 so that's why I'm looking at these specifically and the one pretty ''cheap'' 480 (8gb) I found is not available anymore, apparently an ''Outgoing model'' (This one: https://www.netonnet.se/art/datorkomponenter/grafikkort/amd/xfx-radeon-rx-480-rs-triple-x-8gb/236449.8988/

The cheapest 580 4GB is the same as the 480 8GB I linked and I'm wondering, would that extra 4GB been better or only at really modded games or higher resolution.

Edit: https://www.komplett.se/product/919035/datorutrustning/pc-komponenter/grafikkort/pci-express/sapphire-radeon-rx-580-4gb-pulse# found this 580 for 10 euros less than the other ''cheapest'' one I found.

You havent said what resolution you play at ... most important info.

For GPU performance to be as bad as you say, sounds like its more than 1080p.

I knew I forgot to add something, I play on 1080p. I have 2 monitors but only play on 1.

RX 570 is same as 480 but cheaper, if you can find one it will be good for 1080p

RX 570 4GB is 50 euros cheaper than 480/580. Are the 80's not worth the extra 50? Heard 570 is only like 5-10% slower.

From 29 games tested between  rx 570/580 and rx 480, rx480 is faster 1-2 % at avg fps then 570, and rx 580 is around 5% faster on avg fps then rx 570. I think it's gamers nexus video.

Well if it's such a small difference I think I will go for 570, thanks. Possibly a 8GB version if I can find a fair price. The 4GB version is literally sold out everywhere right now.

I think there's not option for 8gb model, if you are playing on 1080p you dont need anything more then 4gb.. I have rx 570, bought it around 1 month ago, it is very good so far... 580>1060/6gb>480>570>470>1060 3gb.

I got mine for around 190euros, but right now it is very hard to find under 230e.
