looks great issue is that power supply is it powerful enough to drive those parts I would spend a bit more money on a 600w or something

The parts in that build use 360W so 450W is more than enough

I supose in theory yeah but power supplies are finicky and it is always best to have a bit more wattage since there are always parts you dont have a tdp on and most power supplies aren't meant to be sustained at or near the max voltage

His build won't go beyond 450W so he won't need a bigger PSU.

There is a difference but not one that is worth the jump in price. In addition, a ti card would definitely need a beefier PSU

If you want to play on 4K then the 1080ti will make a big difference in performance around 30/50FPS, so it would be worth in those conditions.

That is a good point on 4k but still not sure if it would be worth it also as far as the PSU debate goes did you take into account the power draw of the Motherboard?

According to NVIDIA the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 TI is 30% Faster than its Predecessor, the GeForce GTX 1080,the 1080 TI is basically a cheaper version of the GeForce Titan X (Pascal) just with slight faster bandwith and less ROPS (88 VS 96)

@nxt4n TBH I would go for @ImHyperstyle's build. It is a better build and it is only about 150 dollars more to get a 4k instead of the 1080p monitor. If you want to keep cost down you could get a cheeper CPU like one in the ryzen 5 line up

If the OP wants to play at 4K then why change the monitor to 1080p? I don't think the OP wants to spend a extra $150.
