big picture on xp

Hello!

 

I know steam does not support big picture on windows xp. But is there a semi simple way to make it run on xp yourself? 

I am building an arcade machine and i would rather not install a new os.

Really, you should be getting a new OS like Windows 8 as I think Steam has dropped support for Windows XP .

 

Also, Windows XP is going to be completely dropped in 2014 (and it is about time!).

I have Hyperspin hocked up with all the emulators and games to xp. It would take days of work to get the arcade running on windows 8.

Install XP on a virtual machine? I think Windows 7 professional has XP built in for a virtual machine so you could just copy and paste everything on to there while still being able to be up to date and use big picture. As far as I've tried, it doesn't work on XP at all.

Windows 7 home premium > Ultimate have dedicated XP modes.

Windows 8/8.1 also im sure has it

 

I also agree anyone on XP should be thinking about moving on by the end of the year
