Custom or ready-made headset?

I'm finally coming around to buying a gaming headset (I've been in desperate need of one for quite a while now) and I'm in a dilemma as to what I should purchase. On one hand, I found a pair of sennheiser HD558s for $70, and while I'm not in desperate need of a mic now I can always get one later and stick it on there. On the other hand, I found a pair of steelseries Arctis 5s for $70. My main priorities are sound quality and comfort, but I have a feeling the steelseries might be better for gaming. Any advice is appreciated!

You can get a discreet microphone instead and get the Sennheisers

If you really value sound qualiy, get the sennheiser's and get a modmic or something later.
