My PC Build

I just wanted some insight on this list I put together as a "budget" build, (Parents will be getting the peripherals) anyway, I just want to know if this is a good list and I also wanted advice. Also I'm a sucker for LEDs and RGB.

Everything looks great apart from the GPU. Its widely known not to get the 3gb version of the 1060. The 6gb version is superior, both in clock speeds and in vram, for only 40$ more. If you cant get that cash, then you can allways sacrifice a bit of cpu performance, for gaming you really dont need 6 cores. If you want to render with it, get the r5 1600, but if you want to use it mostly for gaming, the r5 1500x is a great choice.

 

But overall great, just spend 40$ extra on a 6gb gtx 1060. As games start to utilize more vram, it faar more futureproof.

 

With a 1500x (+aftermarket cooler) and the 6gb 1060 the total is 1359$

With a 1600 and the 6gb 1060 the total is 1365$

 

Tbh just go with the 1600

 

But please change out that video card. And if youre a sucke for LED's, get the gigabyte/strix gaming one, as they both have custom LED's
