I've been playing Rocket League at 35 fps or lower, at the low video settings, and I am tired of it because it keeps jumping up to 40 and down to about 10. That is why this coming up summer, I'm planning to work at a store to get some money and upgrade my computer.
So, should I upgrade my graphics card or should I upgrade my CPU?? or should I buy a new $1000 computer... I need some bits of advice.

For CPU, I am planning to buy Intel Core i5 6600K. And for graphics, I don't know yet.... My budget, now, is about.... $4... #StudentLife. But I think I will buy it lower than $200. So I will be so appreciated if you guys can help me. Thank you!

The only thing you could reuse are the 2 HDD I see lying at the bottom and the optical drive on top.

Then with a $1000 budget left you can crate a new PC from scratch as the components you have are pretty mch useless and obsolete already

I am unsure if that case can support long GPU so you should get a new one too

Oh, thank you much <3 I will try to get those! <3 and one question: if I go the upgrade path, which CPU (or graphics or both) should I buy?

At this point in time, both your CPU and GPU are very out of date. Only upgrading one or the other would lead to bottlenecking issues. The parts list by deXxterlab97 seems to be pretty reasonably priced. If you don't want to pay almost $400 for a GTX 1070 and would be fine with a mid-range card, you can consider getting an RX 480/580 or GTX 1060 instead. The cheaper models usually run between $150-200 during sales.

i7-6700 @ 4.4GHz || Asrock Z170 Pro4 || MSI RX 480 Gaming X 8GB || Sandisk 480GB SSD + 2x Crucial 128GB SSD + Seagate 3TB HDD

2x8GB G.Skill 2133MHz || NZXT S340 || Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo || EVGA B2 750W || AOC G2260VWQ6 Freesync

Yeah, I can see it because sometimes just by watching HD youtube videos, it stops for a couple of secs to render, and then it plays back, and then it continuously repeats (obviously not my internet connection). Thus I think it is because of the CPU. In the same time, I want to upgrade my gaming experiences... so... yeah thank you, Hobo <3
