I just recently got this laptop in on Friday. The screen flashes, I have updated all video drivers and this does not fix the issue. The best way to describe it is the display goes dark for less than second and comes back. It does not stop anything from working it is however very distracting. It is also very random when this happens, sometimes I wont see a flash for more than an hour other times there will be one every few seconds. Booting into windows safe mode fixes the issue and there is no flashing. However that clearly is not a solution. This flashing only happens when windows is running. In the shutdown screen everything works fine and in the update screens for windows everything works fine. I have connected the laptop to an external display and there was no flashing on the other display even when the laptop flashed. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.

OS: Windows 10 Home 64bit
Laptop: Gigabyte P57XV7
I7 7700HQ
GTX 1070
16gb ram
256gb SSD+1tb HDD

BIOS: FB04/F002 (not the latest I'm too chicken to flash a laptop bios)

Ill try to get a video, but it is so intermittent its hard to catch.

Just general use, it is very random when it happens. Just now it flashed twice. The only place it doesn't flash is at the boot screens before Windows log in and at the shutdown loading screen. I've been trying to narrow down the issue and one of the things I've seen that might be an issue is this program called emptyproject11.exe. It is a Gigabyte program that is started by the Gigabyte Smart Manager. I have no idea if this is actually the problem, but it is being run at startup.

When the screen flashes, were there like a huge amount of colors on the screen? because im starting to recall something like this that happened to me a long time ago, one of wires wasnt connect properly inside the computer so whenever one of those colors came on the screen just kept flashing like a mad man until i close the window

Its a very fast flash, I cant actually tell if its colored or not, the best way to describe it is like the screen is blinking. It has that speed.

Full colors, browsing the internet playing games, watching videos, it happens doing all of these activities. I just looked at a color test video and I got no tangible response.
