I have this one myself and has some great features for the price it is, and has decent power phases to give clean energy to the CPU, just check the QVL list though to make surte your ram will run at speeds you want.

No, it doesn't matter at all, just has less PCI-e slots and is a bit smaller... if you have a pc partpicker list I'll have a look for you and try to check if there'd be any problems for you.

About 800-900. I could go to about 1k, (USD) but would rather stick to below 900.

Also, is there a large difference of performance between the 1070 and 1070-mini?

OK, made a few minor changes and added an SSD in m.2 form factor, this will make it much snappier feeling to have an SSD, but if you don't want it just remove it from the list

 

PSU is now fully modular, ran is better and so on, hope you like it.

No, the mini card is very good actually and is a great price too. If you have more budget to use though, you could get the bigger card, but won't make much noticeable difference IMO.

Whats do you mean by the PSU is fully modular? (I'm new to this if you haven't figured it out already xd)

It means the PSU leads aren't fixed on the PSU at all, so if you don't need some cables for instance you can leave them out of the case rather than having to cable manage them, makes a much neater build

Much easier to assemble, you pretty much only need to attach the CPU lead, 24 pin motherboard power lead and GPU power and SATA lead for the HDD you have.
