Hi, I am looking to build my first tower and have been trying to figure out the best setup for my price range. This build is mainly for gaming (fps mainly), my budget is $800 - $1,000 roughly $USD. * I figured that the GPU with this setup will run PUBG (player unknown battlegrounds) and other fps smoothly until i upgrade. Keeping in mind i plan to upgrade the GPU asap, here is my proposed setup:

Get Ryzen it's better price to performance ratio and you'll save at least $50 (bare minimum)

-get rx 570 instead, only a little more

-get a different psu, evga g1 is bad quality

Like the other guys said, get a Ryzen. they're cheaper, and the 1500X and 1600 (i5 competitors) include great stock coolers that allow a decent OC.

Calculate the amount of power each part uses then check for a PSU that outputs a similar amount of wattage. Maybe one that outputs a little more incase you want to upgrade in future. Do research into the PSU's reviews to see which ones are reliable and which ones are not.

OC the RAM or get high speed RAM

If you want to cut cost, you can drop the aftermarket CPU cooler, downgrade GPU to GTX 1060 6GB or RX 480/580 8GB
